Coach Pedro Rios – Basketball Trainer & Coach
Coach Pedro Rios is a highly experienced basketball trainer and coach with a deep-rooted passion for player development. A former standout athlete, he was an All-American Nominee in 2005 and earned multiple accolades, including RIIL All-Star (2005), All-Division (2005 & 2006), and All-League (2005 & 2006). As a four-year captain at Central High School, he led his team to the 2005 RIIL State Finals against Bishop Hendricken and was named Central High School Player of the Year.
With over nine years of training experience, Coach Pedro has worked with players across all levels—from preschool to college—helping
athletes from Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts refine their skills. He has also received multiple high school and prep school coaching offers but remained committed to his growing training program.
Coach Pedro’s coaching career includes:
• McCourt Middle School – Head Coach for two seasons.
• Recreational Leagues in Cumberland & Cranston, RI – Developing young talent.
• Rhode Island Warriors – Coaching for four seasons, now leading the 7th grade team.
As the owner of It’s Possible Basketball in Seekonk, MA, Coach Pedro has built a premier basketball training facility featuring five hoops, a shooting machine, a Vertimax Raptor, and more. Through his partnership with the Rhode Island Warriors, his brand is prominently featured on players’ jerseys, symbolizing his deep connection to the local basketball community.
